Men's Programmes
The 'Living without Violence' programme is a 17 week programme that is held twice per week. There is a choice of either a Monday or Tuesday evening from 6pm till 9pm with a break in-between. It involves working in groups to find ways of expressing anger without the use physical, verbal, emotional or sexual abuse.
The programme is for all men who have problems with anger, violence and abuse: Self referred men, Family Court and District court referred men.
This programme is for any men who want to have respectful relationships with his partner, children, workmates and friends.
The seventeen-week programme some topics that you will cover are:
- Respect
- Trust and support
- Honesty and accountability
- Responsible parenting
- Shared responsibility
- Economic partnership
- Challenging belief system
- Non-threatening behaviour
- Choice you make
- The use of time outs
The benefits of practising and following the Principle of Living without violence are:
- Improving your relationships
- Being happier
- Being less stressed in all areas of your life
- Achieving your potential as a person

- The kids feel safe around me and that's everything for me.
